Job Description
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL for data manipulation and query optimization.
- Woking knowledge of ETL and Data Platforms with SAP data (SAP being the source for OLAP)
- Knowledge of Snowflake's architecture, features, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data solutions using Snowflake
Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop data pipelines to provide high-performance, live query access.
- Involving in data exploitation and the development of analytical data models with SAP data using AtScale semantic layer.
- Work with the broader data team to integrate with existing data infrastructure and tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality, consistency, and timely delivery.·
- Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize and tune SQL queries and data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
- Implement data governance and best practices for data quality, security, and compliance within Snowflake databases
Primary Skills :
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with experience in Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, Snowflake architecture and best practices.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL for data manipulation , query optimization and designing and implementing data solutions using snowflake.
- Woking knowledge of ETL and Data Platforms with SAP data (SAP being the source for OLAP)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for data accessibility.
- Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data pipeline development in snowflake and SAP /cloud platforms.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Secondary Skills :
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience with data governance and security practices is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Git version control.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn modern technologies and methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
