Parvathy Nandakumar, Product Leader, Innovation Center of Excellence, Reflections, was a panel speaker at the Digital University of Kerala (DUK) Induction ceremony, held at the C-DAC Center on August 5, 2024.

In the panel discussion on “The Future of Work: Shaping Careers in the Age of Gen AI,” Parvathy spoke on Gen AI beyond Proof of Concept, AI in production and challenges, reality of Gen AI vs. the hype and how to choose the right kind of AI, the data prerequisite and other infrastructure considerations, responsible AI and the importance of AI governance, broad AI landscape before specializing in GenAI, and the global trends in enterprise AI adoption, alongside senior executives from EY, UST, Tata Elxsi, and Allianz. The event was attended by around 300 students, parents, and faculty members.
