A workshop on Empathy to Execution: Walk in Their Shoes, Build for Their Needs was organized on April 26, 2025, at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, by Reflections and Friends of Figma Thiruvananthapuram chapter. At the one-day UX workshop, Alok Kumar, Director of UX, Myntra, led an engaging and hands-on session on building deep empathy during user interviews and using those insights to craft real, meaningful design solutions. 

Alok emphasized how important it is to genuinely listen, observe, and walk in the users’ shoes — pushing participants to be as empathetic and open-minded as possible while gathering user insights. His friendly approach made the entire workshop lively and interactive, keeping the crowd actively involved throughout the day. The day was filled with activities, collaboration, and learning, leaving everyone more confident about translating empathy into execution.
