Introduction
We are looking for 10+years experienced candidates for this role.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary SME and technical authority for SAP Hybris (Commerce Cloud) program
- Lead solution architecture, design reviews, and technical governance for end-to-end commerce implementations
- Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and platform conventions across development teams
- Drive integration strategy between SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP ERP/S4HANA, and third-party systems
- Lead discovery workshops, requirement analysis, and solution blueprinting with business and IT stakeholders
- Provide hands-on development support during critical delivery phases and complex problem resolution.
- Own the technical roadmap for Hybris platforms within ecosystem.
- Guide data migration, catalog management, and PCM strategies.
- Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level developers within the team.
- Liaise with SAP and vendor teams on product updates, licensing, and escalations.
- Support pre-sales, RFP responses, and effort estimations where needed.
Certifications :
- AP Commerce Cloud Certification
- SAP S/4HANA or SAP Integration-related certifications
- Cloud certifications (Azure/AWS – optional)
- SAFe/Agile certifications
Primary Skills :
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with 7+ years in SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud
- Deep expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud architecture — extensions, storefronts, backoffice, OCC APIs, PCM, promotions engine
- Proficiency in Java, Spring, Groovy, and SAP Commerce data modelling
- Proven experience leading large-scale B2B and/or B2C commerce implementations
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, middleware integrations (SAP CPI, MuleSoft)
- Experience with cloud deployments — SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2), Azure, or AWS
- Solid understanding of Agile/SAFe delivery frameworks
- Ability to challenge and validate architectural decisions independently
- Strong client-facing presence — able to present to CXO/Director-level stakeholders
- Excellent documentation skills — HLD, LLD, solution blueprints, ADRs
Secondary Skills :
- Experience in RFP/bid support and solution consulting
- Proven track record of platform assessments, audits, and health checks
- Strong leadership and influencing ability without direct authority
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution mindset
- Collaborative, calm under pressure, and delivery-focused
