Senior Data Engineer & Lead - Snowflake & ETL

Introduction
We are looking for 7+years experienced candidates for this role.
Responsibilities include:
- Query and analyze data stored in Snowflake databases to derive meaningful insights and support business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain data models and schema designs within Snowflake to facilitate efficient data analysis.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Perform data validation, quality assurance, and data cleansing activities within Snowflake databases.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data team, ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain effective communication with customers to gather requirements, provide updates, and align on priorities.
- Demonstrate flexibility in handling shifting priorities, cross-functional collaboration, and adapting to evolving business needs.
- Lead large data teams in delivering complex data solutions across multiple workstreams.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake queries, ETL jobs, and data models to ensure efficient processing and faster insights.
Primary Skills :
- Proficiency in querying and analyzing data using Snowflake SQL.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and schema design within Snowflake environments.
- Experience in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker ) for analyzing and presenting insights derived from Snowflake.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline development.
- Proven track record of using Snowflake for complex data analysis and reporting tasks.
- Expertise in Dimension Modeling is a must
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python R) for data manipulation and analysis.
Secondary Skills :
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
