“I push my limits, not for anyone else, but for myself and beyond my fears,” this was the key message from Mr. Shyam Kumar as part of the 30th chapter of our Inspired Talks, held on August 6, 2024, in our Thiruvananthapuram office.

Shyam, world’s youngest solo skydiver with a prosthetic leg, who recently completed a solo skydive from an altitude of 13,000 feet and has set a new world record for International Book of Records, also an avid cyclist, shared his life journey, health challenges, the experiences of the multiple surgeries, including the kidney transplant that he underwent, the crucial role of his mother played in his journey, how he took up cycling and skydiving, what keeps him going, his future plans and aspirations, also answering various questions from Reflectors. Shyam’s story, the positivity he spread, the confidence he had, and his determination to achieve his dreams were truly inspiring for Reflectors, beyond words.
