The Case
The client worked with minimal automation and outdated custom framework capabilities. Elongated regression cycles resulted due to manual mode of test execution. Multiple software tools existed in the landscape because of mergers and acquisitions, resulting in high maintenance cost. Poor project governance and siloed approach resulted in low team productivity. Customer support was limited leading to large number of production tickets and poor customer satisfaction. Low levels of documentation created high dependency on SMEs.

Implementing Agile processes throughout the project, the Reflections QA team modernized the existing ETAF framework based on BDD model and improved team collaboration. We implemented test automation with Cypress tool on newly onboarded project for API and UI testing and leveraged Browserstack for parallel test execution, cross browser and cross device testing. We created a Protected Centralized Repository for storing, accessing project artefacts and created a regression process and bucketed regression test cases based on the type of change involved. Usability testing was carried out on the UX enhanced screens. Automated test reporting with Zafira dashboard was implemented
